If you need urgent advice outside normal surgery hours ring NHS111 for free on 111

Please only use A&E for serious accidents, injuries or emergencies

Walk-in Centres

  • No longer operate as drop in clinics as of 1/8/18. They are still providing urgent care but on an appointment basis. These appointments can be booked via NHS 111 or via the practice directly.

NHS 111

You can call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergency. NHS 111 is a fast and easy way to get the right help, whatever the time. Call 111 when:

  • you need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency
  • you think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service
  • you don't know who to call or you don't have a GP to call
  • you need health information or reassurance about what to do next.

For less urgent health needs, contact your GP or local pharmacist in the usual way.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
