COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information

Please do not come to the surgery unless invited by us - please call us or message online instead - regardless of whether you have symptoms or not.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation we have changed how we deliver appointments. We are now no longer offering face to face appointments unless a patient has been triaged first by a clinician either by phone or online (e-consult). The majority of issues can be dealt with by phone but if you need to be seen our clinicians will organise this. We have also had to stop some routine services at this difficult time.

If you are asked to come to the practice you will be advised to come to a coloured zone - please see here for more info

1. Basic Advice for Everyone

2. Self Isolation guidance if you or a household member have symptoms

3. Advice for People at Higher Risk. Local guidance for people shielding is available here.

Please note that this is made up of two categories:

1. Those at Higher Risk due to certain medical conditions

2. People Most at Risk. These are people with certain conditions which, on medical grounds, are said to be 'extremely vulnerable' from COVID-19. These are the people who should be fully shielded.

Please note: certain conditions such as Asthma or COPD will place a person at higher risk, but only people with very severe asthma or COPD will be classified as extremely vulnerable. Click here for more information for those in the Most at Risk group.
