Online services

NHS App

If you’re a patient at our practice you can now use the new NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record including test results and hospital letters and more.

If you already use Patient Access, Evergreen Life or any other website or app you can continue to use it. You can use the NHS App as well.

For more information go to www.nhs.uk/nhsapp

With the new NHS login you should be able to sign up for the NHS App without having to come in to the practice with photo ID

I’m not good with the internet – where can I get help?

There are a number of different services for people who need internet training such as UK online centres. Others are provided by local authorities, colleges and charities. The best place to start would be your local library.

Proxy Access

Proxy access allows a parent, relative or carer to manage online services on behalf someone else.

Depending on the level of access required, the proxy user can order repeat medication and access their medical record, e.g. test results.

Please contact us for more information.

Registering for Online Services other than the NHS App

If you prefer to not use the NHS app then we can organise access to a range of other Online Services. We will need to see photo ID before we can give you the necessary details to allow you to complete the registration. This is for your protection. If you do not have any ID then either a member of staff will have to confirm your identity or you may have to answer questions about personal information in your GP record.

During the current COVID19 pandemic we are using video calls to provide a safe alternative to coming into the practice to show ID as we can see the ID and the person.

Problems with Online Services

If you have a question or problem with accessing or using online services please contact the website or apps support team first as they are more likely to be able to help.

However if you think there is a problem with the record itself for example a misfiled letter then please contact the surgery as soon as possible.
