All patients at The Tredegar Practice have a named, accountable doctor who is responsible for coordinating their care.
Your named doctor will be allocated to you by the practice:
- Patients with surnames beginning with the letter A to K will have Dr Farrelly as their named GP
- Patients with surnames beginning with the letter L to Z will have Dr Hodkinson as their named GP
This will make absolutely no difference to how you use our services and how we treat you.
At the Tredegar Practice we do in fact have some services which have a named GP in order to provide continuity of care (for example, the Integrated Care package). If this is the case, you will be allocated to a named GP which may not follow the alphabetical rule above. Some of you will already have a named GP and this will not change.
You do not need to take any further action, but if you have any questions, or wish to discuss this further with us, please speak to reception.
If you have a preference and would like to request a particular doctor at the practice to be your named GP please talk to one of our receptionists.
